High atop a tree at the edge of the lake, this Osprey kept vigil. It wasn't even distracted when a Red-winged Blackbird flew within feet of it, then flew off again just as quickly as it had appeared. Fish apparently make up about 99% of their diets, so I'd imagine the other bird felt quite safe flying so close to this hunter.
