GalleryNATUREBIRDSWATER BIRDSDabblers male Mallard dabbling
prev nextMale Mallards can usually be picked out of a group of ducks by their irridescent green heads, yellow beaks, brown breasts, and orange fee. There are times however, when the lighting might not be right, or the angle of the bird is off, and they don't quite show their stuff off. If they're dabbling bum-end up in a group of other ducks, just remember male mallards have curly black pintails like this one.
