GalleryNATUREBIRDSWATER BIRDSGeese & Swans Mute Swan
prev nextGrowing up, I was only familiar with seeing swans in Stanley Park. The idea then, of having them in a creek running through your neighbourhood is something new - and oh so special. We were driving through Surrey's Morgan Creek though, and that's exactly what we found.
Originally from Asia, they are mainly found in Stanley Park, so sighting them where we did was a real treat. The native swans to the area are the larger and louder Trumpeter Swans, that winter here from November through March.
