Bactrian Camel

  Like a lot of animals camels grow thick coats for the winter and shed them through the warmer months. Their heavy winter fur keeps them warm in the extreme temperatures they experience in their native habitat in central Asia. You can still see clots of fur following down its tummy bulge from between its two humps. And though you may picture camel humps as stiff and upright, they droop like wilting flowers when the camels rely on the stored fat in them for sustenance
