Collared Peccary at the zoo

The Collared Peccary, or Javelina may look like a pig, but it's now considered to be more of a distant or far-removed cousin. They're common from the southwestern US, through northern Argentina. And besides their two more commonly known names, they're also called  Mexican Hogs or Musk Hogs due to the strong smell they exude when danger is about.
