peach Bearded Iris - aaahhh

Our neighbour were thinning their plants and gave us some of their Irises. It was past the blooming stage, so she was going by the position in the yard as to what she was pulling out. She said she had large peach Irises in that area, as well as soft periwinkle ones, and thought we'd be getting the peach. The first year they came up, they were that delicate purple blue, not peach. The next two years we had really cold winters and uncommon amounts of snow. No flowers came up those years, but the leaves proudly spiked high and strong. This year the flowers came back - but instead of periwinkle, they're peach. I'm not sure if we got some of both flowers, and they've both gone through periods of stress, or something changed the makeup of the flowers. Either way, they're gorgeous.
