Pink blossoms filled the paths at Elgin Heritage Park when we were there. The delicate Flowering Currant sprays were beautiful brighteners, but in addition to delighting us, they are also apparently bee and hummingbird friendly. And for those with a lot of wilderness around, it's nice to know they are also deer resistant.
