  Pink Salmonberry blossoms have been making statements for a number of weeks .. and now the berries are starting to pop up as well. And it would seem that they're either a bit early this year, or we have a more temperate zone that allows them to ripen earlier than other areas: most sites said they start ripening from mid-June to late summer - then continue through the fall, but these were definitely juicy in mid-May.
