Satyr Comma (Patygonia satyrus) - sepia & b&w

After what most people would call a simple hike through the woods (for the most part it was, but the occasional wicked steep slope made it a bit of a trek for the more nimble footed), we opened on a large marshy area with Dragonflies enjoying the last of the northern summer. Butterflies like this Satyr Comma floated around our heads like feathers carried on light breezes. Occasionally they'd land, but most of the time they were just teasing us and took of within seconds of stopping.
