Western Tiger Swallowtail butterfly

Though I haven't seen a lot of Western Tiger Swallowtails, they are apparently quite common in urban areas because boulevard and garden plantings of willows, birches, and poplars are a draw. And they can be found from southern BC, and in the US west of the Rockies.

Check out the video of the Swallowtail flitting and fluttering from cluster to cluster as it drinks  dinner in style.
