 A good walk with a few show stoppers makes for a great day. Nice view, critters, and exercise.  Couldn't ask for much more.

 We've seen racoons often enough in the city - but never like this. I only had a few moments to capture him from the bridge we were on at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, before he headed back into the scrub behind. One brief encounter. But this little guy charmed us immediately.

 Some truly beautiful jewels aren't of the bauble variety. They're gems of natural beauty mother nature tucks away so they stand out when you find them. This was one of those. A long drive ended amongst these peaks with the water dancing at their edges. Chilliwack Lake was worth the drive.
